STAR Host Policy

The STAR HOST policy takes effect from August 16, 2025

1. STAR HOST Requirements

Appearance: Hosts must present an attractive image with appropriate attire and professional makeup during live streaming.

Talents: Applicants should possess demonstrable skills such as singing, dancing, musical instrument performance, or other specialized abilities.

Equipment: Professional live streaming setup is required, including lighting, background arrangement, and related hardware.

Income: Applicants with hosting experience on platforms such as Bigo, TikTok, or Kwai should provide supporting documents such as host level certificates or income records.

STAR HOST Application (New Hosts)

Evaluation is based on the above requirements. (If you have received salaries from Kako fewer than 10 times, you are a new host.)

STAR HOST Application (Veteran Hosts)

Based on the above requirements.

Data evaluation (mandatory): Data from the past 30 days on the Kako Live platform. It is required that the total lucky gift revenue is ≥ 100 million, and the number of valid live streaming days is ≥ 20 days. (Valid live stream: Each time the host streams and receives the target salary.)

Self-gift data will not be counted in the data evaluation.

Special Note

On Kako Live, hosts who have received fewer than 10 salary payments are considered new hosts.

Even if veteran hosts meet the required targets, if they do not demonstrate professional live streaming skills and their appearance does not meet the necessary aesthetic standards, the platform reserves the right to reject their Star Host application.

2. Application Method and Process

Applicant: Star Host evaluation can only be applied for by the agent.

Application Process: The agent can submit the application through the Agency System. Evaluations are conducted from Monday to Friday. (When the Agency System entry is unavailable, the agent must submit the application to their corresponding ADM.)

3. Star Host Bonus

Level A- $5/day for 3 hours of daily live streaming, Minimum of 2 hours during peak hours (16:00-24:00, Brasília time zone)

Level S- $10/day for 4 hours of daily live streaming, Minimum of 2 hours during peak hours (16:00-24:00, Brasília time zone)

Level SS- $15/day for 4 hours of daily live streaming, Minimum of 2 hours during peak hours (16:00-24:00, Brasilia time zone)

The bonus will be distributed in the form of crystals to the accounts of Hosts and Agencies on the following day.

REFERRALS $$$

Star Hosts will receive an exclusive invitation link. For each successful recharge made by invited users, the Star Host will receive an 8% reward.

Example: If a user recharges $100 USD, the Star Host will receive crystals equivalent to $8 USD, which will be credited to the Star Host's account in real time.

4. Promotion and Maintenance Rules

1. Star Host Demotion and Degradation Rules

Evaluation Cycle

Cycle 1: 1st to 15th of the month;

Cycle 2: 16th to the last day of the month.

The evaluation team will conduct analyses on the 1st and 16th of each month. The results will take effect immediately and will be notified to the agent and the Star Host via a system message.

Star Host Maintenance Criteria

Lucky Gifts 

Level A- 100k Crystals (10 USD/day)
Level S- 250k Crystals (25 USDday)
Level SS- 400k Crystals (40 USD/day)

Promotion/Demotion Rules:

Star Hosts who are inactive for a long period will have their qualification suspended by the platform.

Level A Star Hosts who fail to meet the criteria will have their qualification suspended; re-application requires meeting the promotion criteria table.

Level S Star Hosts who fail to meet the targets will be demoted to Level A in the next cycle.

Example 1: Maria, a Level A Star Host, conducted 3-hour live streams on 10 days from August 1st to 15th and obtained a total of 2M crystals (average daily income: 200k crystals). That is, she met the maintenance criteria for a Level A Star Host.

Example 2: Ana, a Level A Star Host, conducted 3-hour live streams on 10 days from August 1st to 15th and obtained a total of 900k crystals (average daily income: 90k crystals). That is, she did not meet the maintenance criteria for a Level A Star Host. Therefore, starting from the 16th, Ana's Star Host qualification will be suspended.

Note: For newly added Star Hosts, if the live stream is of high quality, the data requirements for the first phase will be less strict.

2. Star Host Promotion Rules

After becoming a Star Host, the host can improve their performance to reach higher levels and receive greater rewards. 

Promotion applications must be submitted sequentially (e.g., A→S→SS), without skipping levels.

After meeting the conditions and completing 2 evaluation cycles, submit a request for analysis to the corresponding ADM.

Results will be communicated within 1 working day.

5. Star Host Content Sharing Obligations

Star Hosts must share live stream content on personal Instagram or other social media and tag @kakoliveapp, at least once a week.

Star Hosts must also publish at least 1 post (videos/images) on the Kako app, at least once a week.

Failure to comply will result in the risk of degradation.

6. Star Host Penalty Rules

1. Violators will permanently lose their Star Host qualification and will not be able to apply again. Behaviors that may lead to degradation, with bonus confiscation:

Simultaneous streaming on more than 1 platform

Promoting other platforms during live streams

Inviting users to migrate to other platforms

Allowing another person to stream on their behalf (substitution)

One person streaming on two accounts simultaneously

Other serious harms to the platform

2. Star Hosts will receive warnings for the following actions. If a Star Host receives more than 3 warnings per cycle, they will be suspended from their Star Host qualification:

Host's absence during the live stream

Streaming content with improper posture/activities unrelated to the live stream

Persistent obscene language, even after a warning

Religious/political content

Other violations of the guidelines

3. If a Star Host leaves the original agency, the agent will decide whether to maintain or suspend their Star Host qualification. If the original agent does not agree to maintain it, the host's Star Host qualification will be suspended. When reapplying after 7 days, the host will undergo an evaluation in accordance with the maintenance criteria.
